JCKM Hostels begins Conclave – the Meet your Mentor program.

JCKM Hostels has begun a Mentoring Program – Conclave Series – for its students wherein which students get to interact with their role models (Civil Services Officers). In these monthly sessions, students shall draw inspiration and guidance on how to prepare for Civil Services exams &

the expectations & experience thereafter. Sh. Sanjayji Jaju (IAS – 1992 batch, Jt. Secretary, Defence Production, GOI) kickstarted the Conclave  Series (Meet your Mentor sessions) on Aug 7, 2019. Over 40 students attended the session & listened keenly on his experiences. He dwelt upon the preparation required for Civil Services examinations – the time, effort, discipline etc. He talked about the current expectations from students at different stages (Prelims, Mains & Interviews).

It was then an honour to have Sh. Srikantji Baldi (1985 batch, currently the Chief Secretary, Himachal Pradesh) talk to the students on Oct 8, 2019. He spoke from his rich 34 year experience on the role / responsibilities & the pride / privilege for a Civil Servant. Besides, he shared success mantras for the Civil Services examinations with about 40 students who listened & learnt intently.
